Meet FOL’s Newest Attorney
FOL is excited to announce that Tyler Hoellwarth has obtained his Texas law license and is now representing our clients in hearings throughout Texas.
Tyler is an Austin native, having grown up here and with family still in the area. He attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he played basketball and was named to the Dean’s List and the Southern Athletic Conference Honor Roll.
In May 2023, Tyler graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law. After passing the District of Columbia bar, he began his legal career with the Law Offices of David P. Sheldon, PLLC in D.C., where he represented U.S. service members under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) and Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA) claims.
Outside of work, Tyler volunteers with Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas and the Austin chapter of Mobile Loaves & Fishes. He enjoys fitness, traveling, golfing, cooking, and video games.
Tyler has been working with our attorneys and staff for several months while awaiting his reciprocal license from the State Bar of Texas. Now that he’s fully licensed in the Lone Star State, he’s eager to put his e
xperience to work defending workers’ compensation and Defense Base Act cases for our clients.
