Commissioner Establishes New MFG Conversion Factors

Texas WC Commissioner Ryan Brannan has announced new Medical Fee Guideline Conversion Factors in Commissioner’s Bulletin No. B-0041-17.

For services provided in calendar year 2018, the new Medical Fee Guideline conversion factors are $58.31 and $73.19. The conversion factor of $58.31 applies to service categories of evaluation and management, general medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, radiology, pathology, anesthesia, and surgery when performed in an office setting. The conversion factor of $73.19 applies to surgery when performed in a facility setting.
