DWC Hosts Insurance Carrier Quarterly Meeting
The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) holds quarterly stakeholder meetings for insurance carriers and medical providers in the Texas workers’ compensation system. These meetings provide an update on routine information and data topics and highlight current issues specific to each industry. These meetings are informal and designed to enable open communication between DWC and system participants.
On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, DWC holds its quarterly meeting for insurance carriers to discuss issues in the Texas workers’ compensation system. The meeting will be held via Zoom from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Central Standard Time.
Agenda items include DWC Staff Changes, Compliance and Investigations Update, Legislative Update, Designated Doctor Rules Update, Hearings Update, and EDI Update.
