DWC Issues Call for Presenters at the 2025 DWC Conference

DWC has announced that the 2025 Texas Workers’ Compensation Conference will take place September 29-30 at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in San Marcos. This year’s conference, titled “Decoding Comp,” will explore some of the more complex aspects of workers’ compensation, along with trends and issues to watch.

DWC is currently looking for “engaging presentations” on topics like:

        • Best practices for using data analytics in claims management.
        • Trends in workers’ compensation.
        • Issues that prevent injured employees from successful return to work.
        • Technologies to reduce injuries in the workplace (AI, machine learning, wearables).
        • Developments in medical treatment for injured employees (exoskeletons, prosthetics, phone apps).
        • Current issues impacting injured employee health care (co-morbidities, complex claims).

The deadline to submit proposals is February 28, 2025.  More information, including a link to the presentation application, is available via the conference webpage: https://tdi.texas.gov/wc/events/wcconference.html.
