Introducing FO&L’s Newest Lawyers
We are delighted to welcome two new attorneys to Flahive, Ogden & Latson.
Chelsi Dry is a graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she competed on the Mock Trial Team. While in school, Chelsi worked for an Oklahoma City law firm that defended employers in workers’ compensation cases. Chelsi says that this real world experience “helped refine my legal writing skills and prepared me for interactions with clients.”
Chelsi is a newly licensed member of the State Bar of Texas. Although she went to law school in Oklahoma, Chelsi is a Native Texan, having lived in the Hill Country, Central Texas, and West Texas while growing up. Chelsi graduated from The University of Texas at the Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and a Psychology Minor. Chelsi will office in and practice out of our Austin office.
Whitney Morgan is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center where her studies focused on the regulatory aspects of health law. Whitney is a newly licensed member of the State Bar of Texas. She has an undergraduate degree in Telecommunications and Media Studies from Texas A&M University. While in undergrad, Whitney worked as a clinical ethics intern as well as a research assistant at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Whitney grew up in Sulphur Springs and says she will enjoy working out of the firm’s Austin office. She had been employed with a private company as regulatory counsel where her practice focused on ensuring compliance with regulations promulgated by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. Whitney says she looks forward to transitioning from a transactional practice to a litigation environment.
Don’t miss your opportunity to meet Chelsi and Whitney as well as Brittni Coleman, who joined the firm in December 2019, at the firm’s upcoming educational seminar in Plano on March 5, 2020.
