Meet Our Newest Lawyer: Brittni Coleman

We are delighted to announce that Brittni Coleman has joined Flahive, Ogden & Latson as our newest associate. Brittni has been practicing workers’

compensation law for almost two years. She is a May 2016 graduate of South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas where she was a member of the Board of Advocates, Student Ambassadors, and Black Law Students Association. She also served as a THEMIS Bar Review Student Representative.

Before law school, Brittni earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Wiley College in Marshall, Texas. At Wiley, she served as Senior Class President, Miss Junior, a Resident Assistant and was a member of the Wiley College Cheerleader Team, Debate Team, and National Black Pre-Law Students Association.

We asked Brittni to tell you a little bit about herself, and she writes:

During my free time I enjoy relaxing at home, binge watching TV shows, shopping, going out to eat, going to the movies, traveling, but most of all, spending time and volunteering with my Girl Scout troop. I’ve been a troop leader for 5 years for troop #135002, which is considered a multi-level troop. We have girls from Kindergarten to the 11th grade. They’re a handful, but I always enjoy my time with them. I am also an Executive Board Member for the Edward L. Edmond Scholarship Foundation which is a foundation that awards deserving, high school seniors scholarships every year. I’m a fun person to be around, I enjoy meeting new people and forming relationships and look forward to meeting each and every one of you soon!

Many of our lawyers have had an opportunity to try cases against Brittni. Now she will bring her skills to our firm and we could not be happier about that.
