Orlando First Responder Who Carried Bodies of Pulse Nightclub Victims Cannot Claim PTSD on Workers’ Comp

A first responder to the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida is told he cannot claim PTSD for workers’ compensation. He is currently on paid leave and working with an attorney to be able to make a claim for PTSD. The first responder and his attorneys are looking into ways to change the law in Florida to create workers’ compensation coverage for psychological injuries. You may read more about the story here.
